This winter, The Laurel Foundation, a non-profit organization, whose mission is to enrich and empower transgender/gender diverse youth and children, reached out to Bennett Awards for a Youth Empowerment award to honor Jamie Lee Curtis.
World Rugby Awards Bennett Custom Awards to World Cup Sevens MVPs
World Rugby recognized its 2020 HSBC Sevens Series MVP winners with unique custom awards created by Bennett Awards. The UL Mark of Excellence awards recognize and celebrate the men’s and women’s top players from the 2020 season. The awards were based on an abstract geometric shape inspired by the event logo. The sculptures were cast in pewter and featured a satin finish.
WomenHeart Honors 2020 Wenger Award Recipients with Bennett Recognition Awards
For the 10th straight year, WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Women with Heart Disease, presented the 2020 recipients of their prestigious Wenger Awards with unique recognition awards created by Bennett Awards. The Wenger Awards are the leading awards recognizing individuals and organizations for their extraordinary contributions to women’s heart health. The Bennett Awards design “Hearts of Fire” was used for these awards.
Gladys Knight, Bubba Knight and Ben Vareen Honored with Bennett Awards from Broadway in HOOD
Broadway in the HOOD honored Ben Vareen, Gladys Knight and Bubba Knight with unique sculpture awards from Bennett Awards as part of their 10th anniversary celebration. Broadway in the HOOD is a national theatre program dedicated to making a positive impact in communities across the United States, with a special focus on youth between the ages of 10 to 20 residing in the worst of neighborhoods; plagued with violence, gangs, drugs, and other atrocities.
Hard Rock International Presents Bennett Sculpture Awards
Hard Rock International, one of the world’s most recognized brands, presented a set of unique sculpture awards from Bennett Awards for its 2019 Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos Awards. These annual awards recognize the top hotels, casinos, leaders and parters in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino chain. Hard Rock International selected the pre-designed sculpture award ‘Peace’ for these awards.
Shell Presents Bennett Custom Awards for Eco-marathon Competition
Shell commissioned a set of new custom awards from Bennett Awards for its 2020 Eco-maration competition. The Shell Eco-marathon is a global academic challenge focsed on energy optimization, where teams of students compete to see how can design and build the most effective ultra-energy efficient vehicle. Due to the pandemic, this year’s competition shifted to a virtual competition. Three separate custom awards designs were employed for these awards.
Five Legends Awarded with Custom Bennett Awards from The MAX Hall of Fame
The Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience (The MAX) recognized its 2019 Hall of Fame inductees with custom awards from Bennett Awards. The MAX is an experiential museum that showcases Mississippi’s contributions to the arts, including music, visual arts, performing arts, and literature. These unique awards were fabricated from bead-blasted aluminum in the shape of The MAX logo. Recipients of these recognition awards included country music artist Tammy Wynette, singer/songwriters Bo Diddly and Jerry Lee Lewis, poet and writer Margeret Walker (Alexander), and bluesman John Lee Hooker.
Meg Whitman, Alice Waters Among Bennett Awards Recipients
Meg Whitman, Alice Waters and John Sobrato all received unique awards from Bennett Awards as part of their induction into the Bay Area Business Hall of Fame. These recognition awards, honor individuals for their business achievements that have made an enduring impact on countless lives and communities across the Bay Area, as well as their long-standing philanthropic leadership. Recipients were presented with the Bennett Awards sculpture award “Boundless” as part of the induction ceremony. This is the 12th straight year Bennett Awards has provided awards for this event.
Hiring Our Heroes Presents Custom Awards from Bennett Awards
For the ninth consecutive year, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Hiring Our Heroes program presented its award recipients with unique custom awards created by Bennett Awards. These awards recognize companies and individuals that have developed and applied best practices for addressing the employment challenges faced by America’s veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses. The recognition awards are bronze figurative sculpture awards of a serviceman on patrol.
