Bennett Creates Custom Awards for Nuclear Energy Institute
Bennett Awards created custom awards for the Nuclear Energy Institute’s2019 Top Innovative Practice (TIP) Awards. The TIP Awards showcase new and creative ideas developed by nuclear energy industry’s talented workforce. Bennett Awards created two custom award designs: one design for the TIP Award winners (a standing plaque), and one design for the top TIP Award: the Best of the Best Award (a silver-plated bronze sculpture award).
United States Rugby Foundation Commission Custom Bennett Awards
The United States Rugby Foundation commissioned custom awards from Bennett Awards for its inaugural Prusmack Awards. The Prusmack Awards honor the top male and female rugby sevens players in the United States. Bennett Awards created two custom bronze sculpture awards – one male and one female – to recognize the winners of these awards each year. The figurative sculptures showcase rugby players in action.
Custom Awards Created for Comic-Con
Bennett Awards created a new custom award design for Comic-Con, a multi-genre entertainment and comic book convention held annually in San Diego. These custom awards will be used to honor inductees into the Comic-Con Museum Hall of Fame. The first award produced was used to recognize Batman’s induction in the Hall of Fame – the first fictional character that has been inducted.
Baylor University Commissions Custom Bennett Awards
Baylor University worked with Bennett Awards to create a new set of custom awards for Baylor’s Golden Bruiser Awards. The Golden Bruiser Awards recognize the top student-athletes at Baylor University each year. For these recognition awards, Bennett Awards worked with Baylor to create a new, unique sculpture award design in the form of Baylor’s mascot: “Bruiser” the bear.
Bennett Creates Custom Awards for Shell Ocean Discovery XPRIZE
Bennett Awards created a set of unique custom awards for the Shell Ocean Discovery XPRIZE. The goal of the Shell Ocean Discovery XPRIZE is to accelerate the development of unmanned and autonomous systems and sensors for deep-sea exploration. Three different award designs were developed for three different versions of the XPRIZE: two custom award designs and a modified design based on an existing sculpture award.
National WWII Museum Presents Custom Bennett Awards
The National WWII Museum presented a set of custom medallions created by Bennett Awards to recipients of its 2019 American Spirit Awards. The American Spirit Awards honor individuals and organizations whose work reflects the values and spirit of those who served our country during the World War II years. For these awards, Bennett Awards created unique, custom medallions with a variety of images and finishes.
Ballet Hispanico Presents Bennett Custom Awards
Ballet Hispanico, America’s leading Latino dance organization in the United States, presented two deserving recipients with unique custom awards created by Bennett Awards. Lourdes Lopez, the Artistic Director of the Miami City Ballet, was presented with the Toda Una Vida Lifetime Achievement Award. The television series Dancing with the Stars received the Nuestra Inspiración Award. Both of these awards were custom awards created by Bennett Awards for Ballet Hispanico in 2015. The award design is centered on an impressionistic ballet dancer.
Julia Roberts Receives Bennett Sculpture Award as Recipient of the George Eastman Award
Acclaimed actress Julia Roberts received a sculpture award from Bennett Awards as the recipient of the latest recipient of the George Eastman Award. Roberts was recognized for her distinguished contribution to the art of cinema. The George Eastman Award was established by the George Eastman Museum in 1955 as the first retrospective film award to honor artistic works of enduring value. For this award, George Eastman House selected the unique Bennett sculpture award “Elite”, designed by Tom Bennett.
Bennett Awards Presented for James W. Foley Foundation Freedom Awards
The James W. Foley Foundation presented recognition awards from Bennett Awards to the 2019 recipients of its James W. Foley Freedom Awards. The foundation’s mission is to advocate for the safe return of all Americans held hostage abroad, the protection of independent conflict journalists and education regarding these threats to freedom. The James W. Foley Freedom Awards are presented each year to honorees who exemplify the extraordinary moral courage needed in government, journalism and education. The Bennett Awards sculpture award design Eternal Spirit was used for these awards.
Bennett Creates Custom Wood Awards for Copperstate 1000
Bennett Awards created a set of unique custom wood awards for the Bell Lexus Copperstate 1000, a multi-day vintage car rally held in Arizona. Bennett Awards created custom teak wood awards cut in the shaped of Arizona. These wood sculptures are laser engraved with a map of Arizona and the award name. A custom copper-plated medallion with the event logo is attached to each wood sculpture.
