Bennett Awards Creates Custom Alterna Cup for National Lacrosse League

Bennett Awards created a new, uique custom award design for the National Lacrosse League’s (NLL) inaugural Alterna Cup. The Alterna Cup, a partnership between NLL, Alterna Savings and Alterna Bank, is a season-long competition among all five Canadian NLL teams: Calgary, Halifax, Saskatchewan, Toronto, and Vancouver. The winner of the Alterna Cup will be determined by the team with the best winning percentage in head-to-head matchups.

Bennett Awards worked with NLL to design a new, unique custom award for this competition. The award design is based on a vertical geometric cup in the shape of the Canadian Maple Leaf. The cup sits on an integrated hexagon-shaped base with a raised sculpted image of the Alterna Cup logo. These custom awards are cast in bronze and feature a golden patina. The edge of the maple leaf and the Alterna Cup logo are high-polished to accentuate these design elements.

The Alterna Cup, including its integrated base, stands approximately 21.5” tall.
