Bennett Creates Custom Sculpture Awards for Alabama Policy Institute
Bennett Awards created a new, unique set of custom sculpture awards for the Alabama Policy Institute (API), an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit research and educational organization dedicated to strengthening free enterprise, defending limited government, and championing strong families.
These custom awards were created for API’s inaugural Policy Warrior Awards. These awards recognize individuals who take a public stand, even in the face of great opposition, for issues of policy that affect the well-being of the State of Alabama and its citizens on matters that go directly to the pillars upon which API stands: Free Markets, Limited Government, and Strong Families.
For these recognition awards, Bennett Awards worked with API to create a new sculpture award design in the form of a 12” tall replica of a large, monumental bronze statue – “Rough Rider: - that stands in honor of Alabama’s 167th Infantry Regiment on the battlefield at Croix Rouge Farm in France, and a companion statue stands in our State Capitol city of Montgomery.
These sculptures were cast in resin and featured a dark antique patina finish. They were mounted on white marble bases with gold-fill engraving.
