Rev. Billy Graham Receives Bennett Recognition Award
The Reverend Billy Graham recently received a special Bennett Recognition Award. This recognition award was presented to the Rev. Graham by Trinity College of Florida. The recognition award was a instantiation of an annual award given by Trinity College called the “Macedonian Call Award”. This unique award is given annually to select individuals who through speech, life, love, faith and purity exemplify the shared core values of Trinity College of Florida in serving humanity. Recipients of this recognition award have modeled personal integrity, global influence, and eternal impact of the highest levels of society.
The recipients of this prestigious and honorable recognition award compose an elite group of followers of Jesus Christ devoted to the ongoing advancement of the Kingdom of God. The President of Trinity College of Florida, in consultation with the College community, selects the recipient. The award is presented annually in May.
The Rev. Graham was presented with the Bennett recognition award "Amber Blaze". This unique award was presented to Rev. Graham by Trinity College of Florida’s President, Dr. O’Farrell, at the Trinity College of Florida Awards and Fundraising Dinner held at the Tampa Bay Grand Hyatt in Tampa Bay, Florida. Accepting the award on Rev. Graham’s behalf was his daughter, Ruth Graham (shown in photo above).
The Rev. Billy Graham is one of the most recognized and respected spiritual leaders in the world. He has been a spiritual advisor to multiple U.S. Presidents, and was recently named #7 on the Gallup list of most admired people for the 21st Century.
