Custom Corporate Awards Created for Audi Cup

Individual Recognition Award

Custom corporate awards designed by Bennett Awards were used for the 2009 Audi Cup Charity J24 Sailing Regatta, held September 12-13 in Dana Point, California. The sailing competition was co-sponsored by Audi and the Dana Point Yacht Club, and benefited the Ocean Institute, located on Orange County’s Dana Point Harbor. The award was received by Doug Hosford, captain of the winning J24 sailboat (shown in photo at left, courtesy of Stan Sholik).

Two unique custom awards were created for the event: a design for annual corporate awards that will be presented to the fastest J24 regatta team each year, and a larger perpetual recognition award that will list the names of each year’s winners, and be displayed in Audi’s showroom. Both these unique awards are based on re-sized versions of Bennett’s “Voyager” recognition awards. These recognition awards were customized to Audi’s needs, then mounted on custom marble bases with an engraved plate featuring the Audi logo and information about the competition and winners.
