Twilio "Twilioversary" Awards

$0.00

Twilio, a cloud communications company based in San Francisco, recently engaged Bennett Awards to create new custom employee recognition awards. This award, called the 5th Year Twilioversary Award, recognizes employees who have been with the company for 5 years. Employees receive these recognition awards at Twilio’s All Hands Meeting, along with 5 balloons and a card, which is held at Twilio’s corporate headquarters.

Bennett Awards worked with Twilio to create unique, miniature sculpture awards in the shape of Chuck Taylor Sneakers. These sculptures featured bronze plating and the Twilio logo on the side of the shoes. This unique award design was inspired by the fact that many Twilio employees wear Twilio Chuck Taylor sneakers. This is a reflection of one of Twilio’s Leadership Principles:

Wear the Customer’s Shoes.

Good leaders solve problems from the perspective of the customer’s experience. Bad leaders concern themselves with internal structures or motivations.
