ReaderLink Partner Achievement Awards

$0.00

Bennett Awards created a set of differentiated custom awards for ReaderLink, the largest full-service distributor of hardcover, trade, and paperback books to non-trade channel booksellers in North America. These custom achievement awards were given to partners of ReaderLink in recognition of their excellence over the course of the year.

ReaderLink presented these partners with multiple categories of recognition awards. Five awards – the Outstanding Publisher Awards – were given to partners in different categories of the publishing business. These award categories, and the associated recipients, were Outstanding Mass Market Publisher (Kensington Publishing Corporation); Outstanding Children’s Published (Disney Publishing Worldwide); Outstanding Young Adult Publisher (Scholastic Publishing); Outstanding Hardcover/Trade Published (Random House); and Outstanding Specialty Publihes (Thomas Nelson). Another award – the Sales Representative of the Year Award – was given to the outstanding sales representative (Katie Lenox). The final award – the Premier Partnership Award – recognized overall excellence, and was given to Random House.

For these awards, ReaderLink wanted distinct recognition award designs for each of the three overall categories of awards. However, they also wanted these three designs to be related, giving a cohesive, integrated look to the family of achievement awards. Finally, they wanted to customize the awards to reflect their unique corporate brand identity.

Based on these requirements, Bennett Awards created three sets of custom awards. Bennett Awards created all of these awards from blown-glass. The art-glass for each award was custom blown with the ReaderLink company colors: various shades of red, black, and white, with various metal filaments added in to give the glass a diachronic element.

For the Outstanding Publisher Awards, Bennett Awards created a custom art-glass bowl, with red as its main color element. These corporate awards were mounted on a black marble base with personalized engravings of the ReaderLink logo, award name, recipient name, and year of presentation.

For the Sales Representative of the Year Award, Bennett Awards created a custom ripple vase that was based on a rich, vibrant red color with splashes of white and black surrounding the upper portion of the award. This was also mounted on a base with the same personalized engravings as the Outstanding Publisher Award.

For the Premier Partnership Award, Bennett Awards created a custom-color version of the Uplift Award in red, with black and white accents. A custom black metal stand was also designed to hold this award. The shape of this stand was created in one of the primary shapes featured in the ReaderLink logo. An engraved plate – with the same information as above – was attached to the base of the stand.
