Nike International Friendlies Custom Awards
Bennett Awards designed and produced a new custom awards design for the U.S. Soccer Federation and Nike. This unique custom awards design was developed as the First Place trophy for the Nike International Friendlies, an international soccer tournament held each year. This soccer tournament features U-17 Men’s and Women's National Teams from around the world competing in a set of soccer matches.
The unique custom awards design created by Bennett Awards was based on a stylized cup, which uses unique shapes, stylizing, and geometric patterns to give it an innovative, artistic flair, and differentiate it from garden-variety cup-based trophies. These custom cup awards are produced in bronze, with two-tone patina to accentuate the sculpted patterns on the cup. The custom trophy features a raised, curving channel that flows through the design. The main planes of the trophy feature an old gold patina, while the curving channel features a silver hued patina. The cup features direct engraving in the cup itself: the year and name of the tournament on the front of the cup, and the competing teams and Nike logo on the back.
