Naismith College Coach of the Year Award
Bennett Awards was commissioned to create the 2024 Werner Ladder Naismith College Coach of the Year awards. The Naismith College Coach of the Year Award is given by the Atlanta Tipoff Club to one men's and one women's NCAA Division I collegiate coach. These recognition awards have been presented each season since 1987. The 2024 winners of these awards were Dan Hurley, coach of the UConn men’s basketball team, and Dawn Staley, coach of the South Carolina women’s basketball team.
Bennett Awards worked closely with Werner, the official ladder of NCAA® March Madness® and the world leader in ladders, to create these prestigious custom awards. The sculpture awards were based on an iconic pre-existing design. The sculptures were 3D printed in ballistic nylon and painted bronze. They were mounted on two-tier perpetual walnut bases with engraved plates for each of the award winners.
