EMCOR Board Retirement Award
This custom recognition award was created for EMCOR Group, a global leader in mechanical and electrical construction services, facilities services, energy infrastructure, sustainability and green building services for businesses, organizations, hospitals, education facilities and government. The custom award was based on a design concept created by EMCOR and refined by Bennett Awards. The award was created to recognize a retiring board member.
The core sculptural element of the award was three square blocks stacked vertically, each oriented in a slightly different direction. Each block measured 3” x 3” x 3”. The blocks were handcrafted from Birdseye Redwood Burl. Each wood block had a rectangular recessed area on two of the sides. Cast pewter plates were then wrapped within each of these recessed cavities. The three plates each contained unique, custom metal mark engravings of the EMCOR logo and key milestones achieved during the board member’s tenure.
The block sculpture was mounted on a low-profile black marble base, which also had a sublimated engraved plate with the recipient’s name and information about the award.
