Armtec Corporate Awards
Bennett Awards created these custom recognition awards for Armtec, Canada's leading infrastructure company. These awards recognize specific groups and individuals within Armtec for their achievements throughout the year.
The custom award design is based on a unique concept supplied by Armtec, which Bennett Awards then transformed into three-dimensional sculpture awards. These sculpture awards are shaped like standing obelisks and consist of two key components: 1) a lower component created from cast fine-particle concrete coated with an epoxy sealant, and 2) an upper component machined from aluminum. The upper component is shaped like Armtec's logo (an impressionistic "a") and is painted in Armtec's brand colors (an orange variant). The lower component serves as the award base and provides the surface upon which sublimated aluminum plates are attached. These plates include graphic images, the name and purpose of the award, the year of presentation, and the recipient's name.
The upper aluminum component—the sculpted "a" logo—is 3.5 inches tall. These sculptures sit atop two different-sized lower components (the concrete bases)—one 8.5 inches tall and the other 4.5 inches tall—providing Armtec with two award sizes based on the same upper sculpture.
