Andersen Chairman's Awards
Andersen Corporation commissioned Bennett Awards to create new custom awards for its annual Chairman’s Awards. These employee recognition awards honor the hard work put forth daily to keep Andersen as an industry leader. These awards are the most prestigious awards given within Andersen Corporation annually, and they showcase the award recipient’s stellar efforts in leadership, achievement, innovation and application.
For these awards, Bennett Awards worked with Anderson to create a unique custom award design based on wood. The custom awards feature a set of rectangular wood blocks of varying sizes adhered together to create a layered effect. The wood used for the awards is Ponderosa Pine with a naturally occurring blue stain. A recessed channel was created surrounding the group of wood blocks and this channel was filled with a metal band.
Above the metal band, in a vertical orientation, the outside of the wood blocks was engraved with the name of the award and one of the key Andersen values (quality, safety, sustainability). The Andersen logotype was engraved in a horizontal orientation below the band.
A smaller set of similar custom awards for award recipients was also created.
