Abu Dhabi Custom Awards

$0.00

Bennett Awards designed and produced the custom awards used for the prestigious Abu Dhabi Awards. The Abu Dhabi Awards honor citizens and residents who live or who have lived in the emirate of Abu Dhabi that have made a contribution to building a greater sense of community and social welfare within Abu Dhabi.

During his memorable lifetime, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Founder of the United Arab Emirates, believed in the generosity and kindness of the people of the UAE. The affection he bestowed upon his people emanated from his faith in humanity and trust in the belief that every person is inherently selfless and capable to care for others and their community.

Through the commitment of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, to preserve the legacy of our nation's late father, the Government of Abu Dhabi has chosen to celebrate compassionate individuals who have selflessly volunteered their time to build and support the community of Abu Dhabi.

Established under the guidance and auspices of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the Abu Dhabi Awards ceremony honors and recognizes individuals who have contributed in building a greater sense of community and social welfare within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Through their selfless action, Abu Dhabi Awards recipients illustrate the legacy of that nation’s father.

All citizens and residents of the Emirate are encouraged to nominate people who have contribute to building and supporting a community, regardless of age, nationality or gender; this includes Abu Dhabi citizens, residents and non-residents whose good deeds have benefited the Emirate, as well as Abu Dhabi citizens performing good deeds internationally. Award recipients are selected based on their deeds and actions, not by how many nominations they received.

These custom awards are presented to recipients by His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The prestigious awards ceremony is held at the Emirates Palace.

Bennett Awards had the honor of designing the original Abu Dhabi Awards, which were initially used during the inaugural ceremony held in 2005. This custom recognition award design features two interlocked figures working in harmony to create a beautiful, impressionistic, infinity-like shape. These achievement awards are created out of gold-plated pewter, and are mounted on marble bases with personalized engraving. This custom award design has been used for each of the Abu Dhabi Award ceremonies held to date. More information on the Abu Dhabi Awards can be found at: "Abu Dhabi Awards".
