HNBA Latina Commission Primara Abogada Award
The Hispanic National Bar Association “Primera Abogada” Award, given by the Commission on Latinas in the Profession, recognizes and honors trailblazing Latina lawyers for their unique and lifetime contributions to the legal profession. Every year the Commission bestows the award to a Latina lawyer who: has been a trailblazer, achieved great distinction by opening-up opportunities historically closed to Latinas, and has been licensed for 25 years or more.
Bennett Awards worked with HNBA to create a new, unique, custom award for this award. The design is based on a lotus version. The award has a stalk and leaves in its lower portion, and a stylized line image of the lotus flower surrounded by a ring in its upper portion. The custom sculpture awards created from this design are cast in pewter, feature a satin pewter finish, and are mounted on 3x3x3” square marble bases.
This design is a refresh of an older design created by Bennett Awards that was based on a realistic sculpture of a lotus flower.
