Lafarge Safety Awards - Perpetual Trophy & Medallions
Bennett Awards recently created a set of new custom corporate awards for Lafarge, the largest diversified supplier of construction materials in the U.S. and Canada. These custom corporate awards consist of a large perpetual trophy, along with custom medallions that will be given to individual award recipients.
Lafarge wanted to create a new set of custom business awards for a corporate awards program focused on safety. These company awards are designed to honor individuals in plants across North America who achieve predefined company safety goals.
Bennett Awards worked collaboratively with Lafarge to create set of integrated corporate recognition awards for this safety program. The centerpiece of this achievement awards program is a custom perpetual trophy. This unique trophy features a pewter sculpture award that is a realistic, life-size image of a hardhat, a unique way of emphasizing Lafarge’s company identity and line of business. The front of the hardhat has a raised relief of the Lafarge logo. The pewter of the hardhat sculpture award is plated in dark bronze. However, the raised logo relief is high-polished, bringing it into higher prominence.
This hardhat sculpture award is mounted on a 10” high concrete base, again reinforcing Lafarge’s corporate identity. A custom pewter medallion, plated in the same color of bronze as the hardhat, is affixed to the top of this base. This medallion features a raised relief of the Lafarge safety logo and motto. Beneath the medallion, the base has spaces for customized engraved plates to be added as each new recipient receives these awards. Each plate features personalized engravings of the recipient name and plant.
