AOPA General Aviation Safety Award
These custom fabricated awards were created for AOPA, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, for their General Aviation Safety Awards. The award design is centered on a a sculpture of impressionistic vertical wings, similar to those that are prominently featured in the AOPA logo. Mounted between the upper tips of the wings is a circular disk with the AOPO logo. These sculpture awards are fabricated from aluminum, and feature a brushed aluminum finish. The AOPA logo is screen printed on the upper disk. The sculptures are free standing, and the base component is seamlessly integrated into the award design. A personalized engraved chrome plate is affixed to this base portion at the bottom of the award. These custom fabricated awards stand 10” tall.
