Abbott TPM Awards
Bennett Awards worked with Abbott Nutrition to design and produce custom awards for their Third-Party Manufacturing Awards. These awards are given annually to Abbott Nutrition’s best-in-class suppliers. Abbott Nutrition supports healthcare professionals with research, information, and products to help patients live a healthier and better life.
Two custom award designs were created for these awards. Both awards were based on a circular disk sculpture. The disk sculpture design was centered on an image of the world. The sculpture employed raised lines to show a rough outline of the continents, and raised text with the Abbott logo and logotype. A raised broad rim circled the outside of the disk. These disks were cast in bronze. The raised areas were high polished, and the main recessed backdrop featured a blue (oceans) and green (land) patina. The circular rim around the outside of the disk was also polished, and featured recessed text of the program tagline. This text was filled with dark patina to create contrast against the high polished rim.
These disks were vertically mounted on black two-tier trapezoid-shaped marble bases for Abbott’s ‘Best in Class’ awards. The bases featured personalized gold-fill engraving to complement the high polished areas of the sculptures. These disk sculpture awards stood just over 8” tall.
These disk sculptures were also mounted on top of abstract sculptures for Abbott’s ‘TPM of the Year’ awards. These abstract sculptures were also cast in bronze, and featured a high polish finish. These awards were mounted on cylindrical black marble bases which also featured personalized gold-fill engraving.
