Just In Time for the 2020 Holiday Season: Announcing Hero's Heart Jewelry

Share Hope. Share Heroes.

The worldwide COVID pandemic in 2020 demanded a reason to design something special to recognize and uplift nurses, medical professionals, teachers, service employees, first responders and all heroes that are putting their lives on the line during these unprecedented times.

We are a company built on the belief that recognition is essential to the human experience. A custom award can tell a complete story while being a tangible, lasting, daily reminder of an intangible moment in history.

We created a recognition program, Hero’s Heart, which is based around enamel pins designed with a custom colored heart, shaped out of hands, to symbolize gratitude for people who are directly using their hands to help others.

Nurse Appreciation: Healer’s Heart

The silver Hope Heart pendant is $14.95 with all profits donated to purchaser-designated charities.

Our designer, Ryan Rivas shared his process for creating the Hero’s Heart enamel pin design. Ryan shared in his recent interview that he, “wanted to allude to the fact that the people who are using their hands are the people who are keeping us going. Ultimately, their hands are what enables humanity to survive during COVID and beyond. They are using their hands to work and to care for people. I also wanted to touch on the idea of the negative space. In this symbol, the outer shape is the hands, the inner shape is the heart. When the pin is worn, the negative space through the pin is meant to symbolize the person wearing it.

Every day we are surrounded by heroes who bring us courage, inspiration, joy and hope. We hope this program helps people connect and uplift each other during this challenging time.

“It’s meant to symbolize that you are the heart, you are the change, and you are the people that we are grateful for.”

Each Hero’s Heart pin comes in a unique color, attached to a card that explains the significance of its color. The silver and gold Hope Heart necklaces and bracelets can be worn by anyone as a reminder to carry kindness and be the hope during this time.

At checkout, you can select one of four charities, Project C.U.R.E, World Central Kitchen, The National Suicide Hotline and Emergent Fund to receive a donation from your purchase.

As pins are typically worn on badges and uniforms, we’ve developed the Hope Heart jewelry line to be worn either under a uniform or during off hours. In tough times it is often difficult to see or appreciate hope. The Hope Heart acts as a reminder of the hope and goodness in the world.

To be seen and truly recognized gives the reassurance to the receiver that they are making a difference. A natural stress reliever, hope is the feeling that things will turn out for the best. Witnessing or experiencing acts of love, goodness, and kindness is one of the main ways people find hope.
