Three weeks before our event, we created a new awards program that hinged on having “the perfect award - with just the right look - yet unique in its own way” kind of award for our first recipient and all the future recipients. “The trophies were a humungous hit. Have you ever seen a new father without any experience around babies trying to carry his own newborn around? They’re super awkward, in total awe, and just trying not to drop the kid. That’s how all seven teams were carrying around their trophy. Thank you for making such amazing trophies. Everyone on the project has sunk at least two years of blood, sweat and tears in to it. You made a trophy that embodied the depth of their effort.”

“Our organization is responsible for the restoration, preservation and tour program of Frank Lloyd Wright’s first home, built in 1889, and studio, built in 1898—where he spent the first 20 years of his career, until 1909. This was a one-time award for our organization and we wanted it to be special. FLW designs are very detailed and intricate, so creating a 3D model was challenging. I told Mollee from the start, “We are an architecture organization and the award recipient is one of the key architects responsible for saving and reconstructing the building —it has to be perfect!” Mollee assured me from the start they could pull it off and the results are amazing. At the unveiling (yes, we pulled off a cloth) there was an audible “Ahhh” from the crowd. By the end of the evening, the recipient decided it was too beautiful to keep at his home and asked that it be displayed for other volunteers and the public to enjoy. A suitable home in our collection is being researched. Bennett Awards was wonderful to work with from start to finish; their awards are more than products they sell, they are handcrafted labors of love.”
