Spotify Recognizes Dan + Shay's Milestone Track with Custom Awards

Dan + Shay, a popular American country duo composed of vocalists and songwriters Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney, were recognized on behalf of Spotify with custom awards for their milestone track, “10,000 hours”. This single was the most streamed country song of the year on Spotify in 2021.

Bennett Awards worked with Spotify to create these custom crystal awards that were to be presented on stage. While Dan + Shay performed on stage at the Today show, the team at Spotify surprised the duo with the awards.

Engraved on the surface of the awards is the phrase, “Top Streamed Country Song of 2021 YTD 10,000 Hours (with Justin Bieber) Dan + Shay” along with the Spotify logo on the bottom of the crystal award. The silver Spotify icon is also included as a subsurface engraving at the top of the award.
