Bennett Creates Custom Awards for International Tennis Hall of Fame

For the second straight year, Bennett Awards produced a set of unique custom awards for the Dell Technologies Hall of Fame Open, the first stop of the pro tennis summer swing in the United States. The tournament is held at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island, the original location of the U.S. National Championships. The tournament is played on outdoor grass courts, and is the last grass court tournament of the season on the ATP tour and the only grass court tournament played outside of Europe.

In 2017, Bennett Awards worked with the International Tennis Hall of Fame to create a new, unique custom award design for use in a variety of its events and tournaments. The award design is based on a sculpture in the shape of the ITHOF’s logo – a stylized tennis racquet. The tennis racquet sculpture is cast in pewter and have a brushed pewter finish. These custom sculptures are mounted on black hardwood bases with sublimated plates with the tournament logo and winner’s names.

The 2018 recipients of these custom sculpture awards were Steve Johnson, the 2018 singles champion, Jonathan Erlich & Arten Sitak, the 2018 Doubles Champions, Ramkumar Ramanathan, the 2018 Singles Finalist, and Marcelo Arevalo and Miguel Angel Reyes-Varela, the 2018 Doubles Finalists.

The International Tennis Hall of Fame, located in in Newport, Rhode Island, preserves and promotes the history of tennis and celebrates its champions, thereby serving as a vital partner in the growth of tennis globally. The International Tennis Hall of Fame honors players and contributors to the sport of tennis and includes a museum, grass tennis courts, an indoor tennis facility, and a court tennis (or real tennis) facility.
