Parker, Thurman, Watson Among Bennett Awards Recipients
A number of iconic Hollywood actresses, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Uma Thurman, and Emma Watson, received custom Bennett recognition awards at the recent 19th Annual Women in Hollywood Awards Ceremony, held October 15, 2012, at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills Hotel.
This star-studded achievement awards ceremony was hosted by ELLE Magazine, Calvin Klein Collection, L’Oreal Paris, Lexus and David Yurman.
The Women in Hollywood Awards recognize women for their outstanding achievements in film, spanning all aspects of the motion picture industry, including acting, directing, and producing. In addition, to Parker, Thurman, and Watson, his year’s Women in Hollywood Awards honorees included Cate Blanchett, Susan Sarandon, Octavia Spencer, Elle Fanning, Kristen Wiig, Emma Watson, and Shirley MacLaine. Watson was also honored with the Calvin Klein Collection Emerging Star Spotlight Award, and MacLaine received the L’Oreal Paris Legend Award.
These unique, custom recognition trophies were originally designed by Bennett Awards sculptor Tom Bennett, and feature a flowing, impressionistic figure intertwined with a ribbon.
This is the sixth consecutive year that Bennett Awards has provided custom recognition trophies for this gala event. Past recipients of these prestigious awards include Nicole Kidman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Halle Berry, Renee Zellweger, Scarlett Johansson, Barbara Streisand, Jennifer Aniston, Michelle Pfeiffer, Anne Hathaway, Jodie Foster, Kate Hudson, Hilary Swank, Diane Keaton, Sigourney Weaver, Katie Holmes, Lauren Bacall, Jane Fonda, Julianne Moore, Diane Lane, Emily Blunt, Naomi Watts, Selma Hayak, Amy Adams, Isla Fisher, Viola Davis, Jennifer Connelly, and Julie Andrews.
