Duke Energy Selects Custom Bennett Corporate Awards
Bennett Awards recently created two unique, custom corporate awards for Duke Energy, the largest electric power holding company in the United States. These custom recognition awards were developed to recognize two Duke Energy senior managers who were retiring. Both individuals were highly regarded in the company, and in the industry as a whole, for their technical knowledge of complex equipment.
In light of this, Duke Energy wanted to create a custom award design that reflected these individuals’ talents and contributions, as well as other important aspects of Duke Energy’s business. Duke Energy had some initial ideas for this award design, and Bennett Awards worked collaboratively with them to refine these ideas and come up with a final, stunning custom award design.
These unique awards featured an actual turbine mounted on a block hand-crafted hardwood base. Two metal rods raised and supported the turbine, creating the effect of a sculpture award. The hardwood base was painted in a black piano finish. A gold plate mounted on top of the base featured an engraving of the Duke Energy company logo. The front of the base featured a black plate with customized engraving of the recipient name and some additional heart-felt thoughts about the award recipients.
