Garner, Fey, Bening, Lange Among Custom Bennett Awards Recipients

A bevy of Hollywood stars were among the recipients of custom Bennett recognition awards at the 21st Elle Women in Hollywood Awards. The Women in Hollywood Awards recognize women for their outstanding achievements in film, spanning all aspects of the motion picture industry, including acting, directing, and producing.

The 2014 recipients of these distinguished achievement awards include Jennifer Garner, Tina Fey, Elizabeth Banks, Annette Bening, Zoe Saldana and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. In addition, as in past years, two special awards were presented. Jessica Lange received the L’Oreal Paris Legend Award, and “Community’s” Brie Larson received the Calvin Klein Collection Emerging Star Award.

This star-studded awards ceremony was held October 20, 2014, at the Four Seasons Los Angeles in Beverley Hills, California. The event was emceed by “Community” star Joel McHale. Award presenters included Steve Carell, Renee Zellweger, Jennifer Lawrence, Kerry Washington, Shirley MacLaine, Amy Poehler, and Bill Heder.

This is the 8th consecutive year that the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards have used custom awards created by Bennett Awards for this event. These awards are based on a custom award design originally created by renowned sculptor Tom Bennett. . These sculpture awards feature a timeless, elegant impressionistic female figure intermeshed with a ribbon. The sculptures are cast in lead-free pewter, and feature a shiny silver-plated finish. The sculptures are mounted on black round marble bases with personalized engraving of the Elle and Women in Hollywood logos, the recipient name, and the year of recognition.

Past recipients of these sculpture awards include Nicole Kidman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Halle Berry, Renee Zellweger, Scarlett Johansson, Barbara Streisand, Jennifer Aniston, Michelle Pfeiffer, Anne Hathaway, Reese Witherspoon , odie Foster, Kate Hudson, Hilary Swank, Diane Keaton, Sigourney Weaver, Katie Holmes, Lauren Bacall, Penelope Cruz, Jane Fonda, Julianne Moore, Diane Lane, Eva Marie Saint , Emily Blunt, Naomi Watts, Selma Hayak, Amy Adams, Isla Fisher, Viola Davis, Jennifer Connelly, Sarah Jessica Parker, Uma Thurman, Emma Watson, Cate Blanchett, Susan Sarandon, Octavia Spencer, Elle Fanning, Kristen Wiig, Shirley MacLaine and Julie Andrews among others.
