Skateboarding Hall of Fame Awards
Bennett Awards designed and produced these custom trophies for the Skateboarding Hall of Fame. These custom awards were first used as recognition awards for the 2010 class of inductees into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame. The objective of these custom awards and the Hall of Fame induction is to ensure that legendary skateboarders are recognized by their peers and remembered by future generations. The inductees are voted on by members of the International Association of Skateboarding Companies (IASC) and other industry insiders. The annual induction event is put on by the IASC and the International Skateboarding Hall of Fame (ISHOF).
For these unique awards, Bennett Awards created a new custom awards design based on the 3D representation of the Skateboarding Hall of Fame logo. These recognition awards feature one end of a skateboard, including the deck, truck and wheels, on top of the Hall of Fame logotype. These unique awards are cast in resin. The custom awards are mounted on a black marble base that is engraved with the name of the recipient.
Recipients of these unique custom recognition trophies include Tony Hawk, Stacey Peralta, Bob Burnquist, Tony Alva, Danny Way, Black Flag, and Devo. The Skateboarding Hall of Fame is located in Simi Valley, California.
